My name is Dr. Jeff Ritterman.  I am Chief of Cardiology at Kaiser Richmond.  As a doctor, I have proudly served our community for 27 years.

I am on the steering committee of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility.  I sit on Contra Costa County's
Public and Environmental Health Advisory Board.  I serve on Mayor Gayle McLaughlin's Environmental Justice and Environmental Health Task Force.

I care about the health of our community, and putting it first when making decisions. Our environment is the most important force in determining how healthy we will be, even more important than our cholesterol or blood pressure.

I am a strong advocate for: creating more jobs, ending the gun violence and fixing our streets. We can do all three and do them in a way that improves public health and preserves our shoreline. I believe in preventing violence by providing healthy alternatives including job training leading to well paying jobs.
I support transparent democracy.
This upcoming election is crucial for the future of Richmond. We have an unparalleled opportunity to elect a city council that works for you. Join with me to build a healthier Richmond. Learn more at JeffRitterman.com
